Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done under your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised use.

What FileNest is, and isn’t

FileNest is a platform that lets licensed NZ real-estate professionals distribute property documents and accept buyer form-fills. It is not legal advice and not a replacement for a licensed real-estate agent, lawyer, or building inspector. AI summaries are provided as a convenience. Always verify against the original document.

Acceptable use

Don’t upload documents you don’t have rights to share. Don’t use FileNest to harass, deceive, or breach the REA Code of Conduct. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

Fees

Agent pricing is published on our pricing page. Subscription billing is monthly. All prices are NZD, excluding GST.

Cancellation

You can cancel any subscription from your billing dashboard at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Liability

Our liability for any claim relating to FileNest is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We don’t exclude liability the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 won’t let us exclude.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll email account holders before any change that materially affects them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Disputes are resolved in the New Zealand courts.
